I was commissioned to shoot an event, held at Liverpool University in 2014, for the Japan Society North West. The Japan Society North West, provides a forum for everyone interested in any aspect of Japanese life and culture and holds events regularly across the Northwest. On show, that day was Taiko drumming, many forms of martial arts, including Kaze Arashi Ryu plus Kendo and Taekwondo, there was Sushi to be had, Bonzai, and a game of GO; which seemed unending, there were also many lectures and talks, a main speaker, as well as workshops.
